Plant 1 Tree with Fauna was born as an initiative that brings together conscious fashion, design, and respect for nature under a shared purpose. From the very beginning, Fauna Latina has been built as a different kind of venture—focused on generating not only aesthetic value, but also environmental and social impact.
Our proposal connects a deep appreciation for Latin America’s biodiversity, original graphic design, and expertise in digital strategy to create a model where every decision has a real impact.
🌱 What does planting a tree with Fauna mean?
When we say that we plant one tree for every purchase, we mean a concrete commitment to reforestation.
The financial contributions generated through Fauna Latina sales support our forest initiative, allowing us to grow, care for, and donate trees that are later planted in areas where they can truly thrive and fulfill their ecological role.
Our commitment: one tree for every product sold.
Thanks to this initiative, Fauna Latina has already donated trees to local farms and established relationships with organizations and institutions actively working on ecosystem restoration in Costa Rica.
We currently collaborate with Green Wolf, an organization doing essential work in reforestation and urban landscape restoration across the country, demonstrating the importance of integrating trees into city environments.
Additionally, we are working with the Municipality of Garabito, which has opened the doors of its forest nursery to help us continue donating trees that contribute to environmental well-being and community beautification.
Fauna Latina is also beginning partnerships with eco-tourism and adventure tourism companies, with the goal of expanding the positive impact of the initiative and supporting more sustainable development models.
🌳 The trees we plant
Our forest initiative prioritizes native species adapted to Costa Rica’s ecosystems, including:
- Espavel, important for soil recovery and carbon capture
- Guanacaste, Costa Rica’s national tree and a refuge for multiple species
- Beach almond, essential for coastal protection and wildlife nutrition
- Cedro and Sotacaballo, key species for biodiversity and ecosystem restoration
Each donated tree represents a long-term process of care, monitoring, and commitment.
🌎 An impact that grows with every purchase
Costa Rica is globally recognized for its conservation efforts, with more than 50% of its territory covered by forests. Even so, reforestation remains essential—especially in urban areas, coastal zones, and regions affected by human activity.
Fauna Latina aims to make every purchase a simple way to contribute to this collective effort.
Thanks to our community, the resources generated help nurture young trees that later grow into shade, oxygen, wildlife habitat, and a stronger future for our ecosystems.
